Mars Arcade — Delete Account & Data

You can delete your Mars Arcade player profile and its associated data. Deletion is permanent. Your progress, scores and leaderboard entries cannot be recovered.

Delete in the game

This is the quickest way and works at once:

Open Mars Arcade.
Tap Profile.
Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
Tap the button again when it asks Tap again to delete for good.

When it is done, the game says so and starts again as a new player. If the server cannot be reached, the game tells you that it could not delete, and nothing is removed; try again when you are online.

Start over, in the section above it, is not deletion: it clears progress and keeps the profile.

Ask for deletion without the game

If you no longer have the game installed, write to us and we will delete the profile for you.

Email a deletion request

The button opens your email app with the message ready; the request is sent only when you send that email.

In the email, tell us your game nickname and where to reply to you.

How we confirm that the profile is yours

If you linked and confirmed an email in the game, send the request from that email address. We delete the profile only for a request that comes from it.
If the profile has no confirmed email, we cannot tell from outside the game who owns it, and we will not delete a profile on the strength of a nickname, which anyone can see on a board. In that case we will answer you about what can be done. The sure way is to delete it from the game on the device where you play.

Do not send your access key, a password or a confirmation code. We never need them.

What is deleted

Your profile, nickname and the email linked to it;
your friends and invites;
your progress, results, completed missions and the records of your runs;
your places on the boards;
your push notification tokens and any notices waiting to be sent. Emails and notifications to you stop.

The game on your device also clears what it kept there.

What may remain

Server logs (IP address, time, request) are kept for up to 14 days, and are not tied to your profile.
Backups, if copies of the data exist, are not used for the game and keep the deleted data only until they are replaced in the normal course.
